If we are lucky, we find meteorites concentrated to enormous densities. On such area is shown here, an aerial view of the Lewis Cliff Ice Tongue near the head of the Beardmore Glacier. More than 1500 meteorites were found on this 3 km by 7 km patch of exposed blue ice.
