
If the approaching cloud is dense enough and parks itself right on top of camp, it can produce near or total whiteout
conditions. You find yourself completely surrounded by a light grey universe; anything of a different color stands out in
sharp relief. There are no shadows at all, either, making it very difficult to walk around even in camp; you keep tripping
over every little pile of snow. Skidooing is impossible, since you can't see the crevasses or steep dropoffs. However, you
can see even tiny meteorites from hundreds of meters away.
