When the personalities are right, isolation and adversity can lead to strong bonds of friendship and an amazingly enjoyable group dynamic. Many people who never knew each other before joining ANSMET have gone on to be fast friends for life- others who have never tested themselves in an adverse environment gain confidence in their own ability to adapt.
