Another plane we use to get around in Antarctica is the Twin Otter, a ski-equipped, two-engine plane that is rugged, agile, and has an amazing cargo capacity for it's size. This is the plane that can take us on shorter trips into areas where the big plane simply can't land. Getting a snowmobile into one isn't fun, but getting it out is a lot easier.
